After listening to the music EP The Disgraced Henry Langham, J.I. formed a personal theory about the story behind it. The theory turned out to be wrong, but the tone and emotional weight of the music matched a story he already had forming in his mind. He realised the best way to tell that story was in the style of Dracula: through journal entries, radio bulletins, newspaper clippings, transmissions, and private notes. This structure gives the events a grounded sense of realism, unfolding like history being uncovered.

Set in the final days before the MOSH outbreak, Your Fool follows Harry Matthews, a happily married man whose steady life begins to shift after meeting a woman who quietly challenges his loyalties. What starts as a simple connection draws him into the outskirts of a government programme preparing for something far larger and far darker.
